I finally had time to escape from the day and night shifts at work... for 2 weeks!

Didn't delay, the following day I took a flight to the beautiful mother city - Cape Town.

A much deserved break.

The year 2015 went by super fast; not that I'm complaining though.

Uberised PE

No there was no dress code, but I decided to wear a black and white outfit - now I match with the logo and I don't even work for +Uber coincidence much?

Well black and white is basic and simple which is what +Uber is; bringing about simplicity in the fast paced and techno-savvy 21st century.

Hello to Oh-so-smooth lips

As you might know, I'm all for affordable quality beauty (and fashion items) products and 

Oh-So-Heavenly (brand from @Clicks_SA) is one of those products I love oh-so-dearly.

Ever since primary school it's always been Nike vs. Adidas in terms of leading sports (sneaker) brands...and according to me at least its still like that.

Its that time of the year where we say goodbye to one season and hello to another...

 

Yep! The year is going by so quickly (not that I'm complaining) it's already time for Spring.

 

Eish....I was still enjoying wearing anything that I pull out of my wardrobe and then just throwing on a Parka jacket ontop - doesn't matter what I wear; the Parka jacket will clean up the mess :) and cover it all up and i'll look proper and warm of course.

For my Birthday month (June) I spoiled myself with a pair of new wheels.

The way I said that made it seem so simple like I went into a car dealership, chose the car i want, went to the till, paid and just like that I had a car - well it wasn't that easy.

I almost had a heart attack.

The coats and jackets are literally to die for!!!

 

This winter if you've paid all your bills/necessities and you've got a huge chunk of cash left over and you don't know where to shop or what to do with your money.

It might seem like this item is very restrictive; but its not. Whether you're going to church, a meeting or a night out - you can still rock your cape out.

AW Trend Aler (for both sexes)!!!

When it comes to staying covered during the cold season...

Stay stylishly warm in a Parka (fisherman) Jacket and/or anything Faux fur!

Don't throw your away though :)

That never goes out of style...

This trend is very grungy; its best to keep your outfit very mellow....like pairing it with a jeans (skinny/boyfriend) or if you're more of a (j)legging person that works well too.

Then add a simple tee underneath (grey/white/black) - if its extremely cold pair it with a cute knit top.

For the edgy & trendy stylistas mix it up with a pair of sneakers!

Or keep the look very basic with a pair of Chelsea/Ankle boots.

That's my 2 cents about this trend :)

Stay fury parka lol

No filter day! Just me

Nothing beats a day where you just not doing anything and you're just taking selfie after selfie after selfie....yea that's what we do nowadays.

We're "selfying" away lol

No makeup. No filter. No style. No fashion.

Just me and my old (free) varsity big tshirts.

This is just my go to hairstyle.

I don't have to sit in a chair for hours like I normally do for braids & the best thing about this weave (Peruvian) is that I don't even have to manage it that much.

Fuss free.

I shampoo & condition it when I'm not lazy or have free time; and that's it.

Each morning before work, I just comb it with a wide toothed comb and tie it up and I'm gone.

Only when it's pretty girl rock time I'll take the time to blow dry it, curl or do whatever...

One awesome hair product though is the +OrganicRoot StimulatorSA hair mayonnaise.

It does wonders to the weave after shampooing it...also leaving it smelling and looking gorgeous.
Love it!

(great product for normal hair as well).

Back in high school when my hair was just doing its own thing and not cooperating with me 

(or maybe I just didn't know how to take care of it) - a bunch of hair just managed to vanish and I was left in a pickle to cover the missing pieces with the remaining hair.

Ok, maybe I'm exeggerating a little bit...but yes I did have some hair issues that caused me not to even be able to tie up my favourite pony hairstyle.

Streets of PE with thuliloves

Out of my comfort zone.

People staring when they're passing by.....bit of a crowd here and there #shy

Those are the consequences of having a photshoot in Govan Mbeki (PE)

One of the most beautiful areas in Port Elizabeth....full of many heritage sights.

Statues of Queen Victoria, buildings that were built way back in 1853 - its full of culture.

Tourists love coming by to take snaps of the iconic buildings so that have a story to tell when they return home - so I thought why not have a photoshoot right in the middle of it all!

Best choice ever (besides all the stares).

Kicks In, Boots Out

My favourite season is slowly creeping in, 

yes I'm a winter baby & yes I obviously looove winter!

All that layering, scarves, coats, switching it up between leggings or denims with oversized knits,   constant warm beverages 

(coffeeeeeeeeeeee (soup or tea for some) galore, boy i love me some caffeine) and everything boots; from knee high, ankle boots, studded boots, cut out boots the works 

(there's just so many designs to fit each and everyones stylish fetish).

Not that I'm a trend analyst or anything, but - sneakers are the "IN" thing!

Just my opinion - not that it matters; for what its worth though invest in a good pair of sneakers this Autumn/Winter season.

+Nike and +adidas are leading the pack when it comes to this trend.

Their sneaker designs aren't just focused on the sporty people no more,

people like you and me are considered too.

People that take fashion as their sport Lol....We are considered too! Hallelua...

So it is totally not weird to leave the house wearing your sneakers with a pair of jeans without people thinking you're weird because sneakers are meant for running!

Not anymore...

enough with my not so expert trend analysis talk.

Oh...you can never go wrong with a pair of my favs - Converse.

These are die hard - they all come and go but Chuck taylors are here to stay...
